The January class just ended and the rave reviews keep rolling in…

From the students: ”The hands-on makeovers were terrific.I was AMAZED at seeing the ‘before an afters’.” “The class more than met my expectations.”  An award winning Watson agent said, “I keep looking at properties with a whole new perspective. I can tell right away what is needed to bring them from nice to spectacular. Every real state agent would benefit.”

From the homeowners: “Simple changes created a whole new look that gave the house an upscale feel. I gained a more spacious feel as well as visual interest.” ” I can’t believe what a difference you’ve made in my house in a few hours. I can’t pull myself out of this room.” One homeowner said he woke up at 3:00am and his wife was not in bed. Her found her sitting in her “new” room.

By the way, that Watson agent had her first staging appointment on the Saturday after the class ended. The homeowners agreed to all the changes recommended. She said they were “more than willing”. Certification gave her a sense of authority in their eyes. How many times, agents, do you give the homeowner a list of essential recommendations (like remove the 70’s wallpaper) only to have them say, ”Let’s just wait a few weeks and see what happens first.” By then, all the qualified buyers have come and gone. Never before in real estate has there been such a need to be proactive in this area. I’ll be reporting again soon on all the media attention “Staging” is getting everywhere. Stay tuned…
